ouch, he poked my eye with a pin-sharp needle
November 24, 2008
so about 2 days ago, my right eye started to ache, as if there’s something that moves when i blink my eye. Minute after minute, hour after hour, the ache started to disturb me. So i took a look on my right eye, and turns out, there’s this 3 white-thingy hanging around behind my bottom eyelid. I dunno what the heck it was, but it really hurts like hell.
So i tell my parents about this, and they all suggest me to took the Cendo eye drops. Let me tell you, the Cendo eye drops taste SUPER BITTER. No kidding. After you put the drops in your eyes, wait around 10 minutes or so, and the bitter taste will struck your throat. Guess there’s a connection between eye and throat.
But, the eye drops didn’t help. So after i got back to Bandung, i ask Nathan, whether his previous eye sickness were the same as mine. It turns out, it pretty much is. So he gave me this ointment called Cendo Mycos. And he told me to put the ointment DIRECTLY on the puss.
AW SHIT
so i put it, and guess what. IT DIDN’T HURT AT ALL. Lucky me, LOL
but because i’m worried that this puss could get bigger, i went to an Ophtalmologist, who turns out to be the father of Iman’s. So i went, and went through the check up. And the doctor said,
“this is a puss. The quickest way to heal it, is to STICK A NEEDLE DIRECTLY TO IT and SUCK OUT ALL THE BLOOD and PUSS INSIDE”
i stopped breathing. Holy Shit. I feel like i’m in the Saw movie. Iman was already yelling, “see? didn’t i told you so?”
But because i want this to heal quickly, i ask the doctor to perform this small surgery.
I close my eyes, i pray; “dear God, please let the doctor do the job right. I don’t wanna lose my eyesight. I’ll promise i’ll take care of my eyes”
then the doctor’s assistant came and bought some needle and cotton. The doctor ask me to put my head on this gadget that holds my chin and my forehead and has this magnifying glass complete with a flashlight. I take a deep breath. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
But before he stuck the needle, he put an eye drop which turns out to be an anesthetic drugs.
then, he stuck the needle. The needle is very thin, and i don’t feel a thing, AT FIRST. Then, a sting are felt on my bottom eyelid. It doesn’t feel pleasent AT ALL. Then blood came pouring down my eyelid.
then it’s done! aw thank god the doctor do the job right. Then he gave another ointment, and i promise to myself, i will take care of my eyes better.
oh yeah, the procedure and the drugs cost me almost 360thousand rupiahs. Shit, my pockets are hollowing.
Oh well, so much for healthy eyes.
cheerio!
